Noatune Studios is a music production and recording studio based in Hackney, London. Established in 2016, the team have worked with a variety of award-winning artists including Tom Odell, Paloma Faith, Mahalia, Pet Shop Boys and more.

The studio’s identity and approach takes Scandinavian influence; a nod to founder Kris Rylander’s Danish heritage. In Norse mythology, Noatun (Nóatún) is the name of a house on the seashore in Asgard where Njörðr, god of the wind, seafarers, coasts, inland waters, and wealth resides.

For their first-ever Open Day in March 2022, I was asked to create a poster and social post graphic which reflected minimal/abstract Scandinavian design.
