Champions Mon Frère!
Analog Football
Analog Football is an online community of photographers who share a passion for photographing football and the culture that surrounds the sport, using analog equipment and techniques. As a freelance designer, I have completed a series or projects across both print and digital mediums for this organisation.
Their first print publication released in 2021, titled Champions Mon Frère!; is a photography book I designed that showcases the celebrations in France when the French national team defeated Croatia at the final of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. 91 photos were selected for the book which were submitted by football fans and photographers who captured the events of the day.
The book design takes influences from shapes and elements of film photography as well as kit and ball patterns seen and used by the French national team during the tournament.
This publication is distributed online and in bookstores in France, and was also sold at two photography exhibitions in Paris, which I also designed posters for. The book was also shown on French sports television channel; TF1, as part of a wider sports news segment.
